Writing Your Life Challenge

Follow Lifetales Media on Facebook for updates.

I so love a challenge! In this coming new year, I have decided to stop telling others to write their memoirs and start writing my own. The great thing about a public challenge is that others do it with you and keep you motivated (hopefully) to continue on. I’ll post a prompt each week. You’ll have a whole week to write something…a paragraph, a poem, a full page, maybe even several pages!
I don’t want this to get to full of rules….that’s what keeps most people from writing their memoirs. My plan is to post helpful tips and tools that participants can use or not as they see fit. By all means, do NOT post your work here UNLESS you want to share, need helpful advice, etc. Mostly, I want everyone to feel free to JUST WRITE! I’m excited about this challenge…I hope everyone else is too!

I plan to use monthly themes with a prompt each week. The themes will allow those who finish a prompt quickly to explore further in that area.

All prompts can be found here or on my blog.
