Little Bee Book Review

Little Bee by Chris Cleave is the fictional story of two women – a white British journalist and a Nigerian refugee – who are thrown together under circumstances that rock both of their worlds. As they both struggle to find their identities in an insane situation, forces beyond their control threaten both their lives and their sanity. If you are one of the millions of people who prefers to say “It’s not my problem” rather than help your fellow man, then this a must read for you! Little Bee forces the reader to confront the realities of the refugee situation around the globe and to take a hard look at themselves as well.
